One of the latest trend in wellness is known as “grounding” or “earthing”. This is when the skin comes into contact with the ground and the body absorbs negatively-charged electrons from the earth.


There are about 100 trillion cells in the human body. And all our cells are made of atoms and atoms possess positive and negative charges. Healthy atoms have a negative charge because they possess more electrons. If an electron is stolen from an atom it will be positively charged. In this state, it is called a free radical, which has a potential of damaging our health. The best way to stop the damage caused by free radicals is by supplying the body with powerful antioxidants or by supplying the body with negative electrons through grounding, a contact with mother earth.
